Instant launch, no lock-in

Our goal was to create a system which would support “one click” deployments and management of your Corporate applications, without creating a vendor lock-in situation. We believe that one of the most important features of ACC is that once your applications are launched in the Amazon’s EC2 environment, they can continue to function independently, even if you were to decide to stop using the ACC portal.

Portability

Applications are optimized and configured for deployment not only in the Cloud, but also in standard hosting environments. FTP-based backups safeguard valuable data and code outside of Cloud infrastructure, over and above the available S3-based data stores. Backups can be restored on any hosting environment and are not specific to Cloud environment.

Transparency

The architecture of the ACC system was designed based on the principles of maximum transparency, without creating unnecessary dependency on proprietary hardware or software components, thus avoiding vendor lock-in.

Cloud adopted applications

Azati provides a pre-assembled, pre-tested catalog of Enterprise Applications including proxy, web, application and database servers, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting and more.

Power On/ Power Off (no data lost)

Power On/Power Off behaves exactly like it should – the data is preserved on persistent storage. When an application is powered off, no data is lost. This makes development and customization more cost-effective. Development and testing environments can be powered off and powered on back when needed. In fact, applications can be scheduled to power on/off by themselves.

Backup/restore

Open technologies are used on all levels of system architecture. Backup/restore is not an exception. Azati Cloud Control uses native DB and file system functionality for backups rather than the alternative approach of using Cloud-specific snapshots. This way, backups are not locked to a specific Cloud environment and can be deployed in any other hosting environment.

Costs estimation

Azati Cloud Control will help you choose an application configuration by price. Cost estimation is alsopresented on each level of your infrastructure, in addition to your cloud provider reports:

Randomized application passwords on initialization (database, administration, etc)

Each of the passwords on your system is randomized when deploying an application. No one knows your passwords. Each application becomes as unique and protected as it would be when set up by a professional system administrator.

Clone to development, testing or production environment

Cloning is a ‘must-have’ operation when maintaining an application during its lifecycle. Testing customizations, new features and upgrades is easy when you clone your production environment to testing or development.

Automatic application troubleshooting with email notifications

Azati Cloud Control is built with no trust to Cloud provider. Each application monitors itself from inside and would try to fix any internal failures (powered by Nagios). In addition, Azati Cloud Control monitors your applications from outside. During a system failure, it would behave like a smart system engineer. You will receive notifications of the actions taken during each step of application provisioning. Azati team can also be involved at any time via community forums or by phone.

Performance statistics and monitoring

Performance statistics and monitoring is one of the advanced features of the Azati Cloud Control. It allows you to view real-time status as well as data from history for the last 10 days. Performance statistics and monitoring system is powered by the following products: Nagios and RRDtool.
